Kalpana 7/23/2005 ----------------------------------------------------------------- 1. Understand the Real YOU! Lorenda Bardell, Editor -----------------------------------------------------------------
The real you is the power of life that became a part of you on the day you were born and took your first breath. We call that inner quality the potential, one's purpose in life, or the birthpath.
The birthpath, calculated from the day, month, and year of birth, reveals the path in life for each person to walk and the lessons to be learned. The potential indicated by the birthpath consists of qualities to be developed through one's thinking and the resultant actions.
To calculate your birthpath, add the month, day, and year and reduce the number to a single digit between one and nine.
November 12, 1975 11 + 12 + 1975 = 1998 1 + 9 + 9 + 8 = 27 2 + 7 = 9 birthpath
A person born December 12, 1975 is a 9 birthpath.
Whether one's birthpath expresses depends upon the name given, for the name creates one's personality and is the compelling force. The birthpath is only a potential until understood and expressed through a mind harmonized to that potential.
What is your birthpath? What is the real YOU?
1 birthpath The 1s seek to understand the fundamental laws of life. They are inventors and explorers and they are naturally ingenious along practical lines. They learn through their own experiences. In work they are happiest in positions in which they can give orders instead of take them, and where their independence is not curtailed. They are self-reliant and strong-willed-- the qualities of a leader.
2 birthpath The 2s are the peace makers and diplomats. Their lesson is to meet and mix with people, to understand others, and to help people in the solution of their problems. As the 2s are naturally impressionable to environment and association, they must learn to be individual and not unduly influenced by others. The 2s are extremely sensitive and understanding. Their lesson is to understand the points of view of others and to create harmony between people through that understanding.
3 birthpath Self-expression is the 3s' keynote. They excel in vocal expression, public speaking, art, drama, or as entertainers, humourists, and promoters. Their lesson is to use the power of the word to inspire and lift others to see a happier, objective perspective of life. The3's are congenial in association and cosmopolitan in nature. They have a love for all people and desire to help others.
4 birthpath The 4 quality symbolizes a power in its technical and scientific expression. It brings into being a very systematic, technical, stable, patient, and scientifically analytical nature. The 4s seek an understanding of life, delving into matter and form, searching for the secrets of nature in materiality. The keynote of the 4 is practicality; and their duty is to find a basic principle governing matter and form. They make excellent teachers and researchers.
5 birthpath The 5 quality represents change--a step above the technical phase. The 5s must seek a definite spiritual principle and apply it; thereby developing the intellect and seeking new ideas, new meanings, and theories, to bring improvement to life. The 5s tend to champion the less fortunate. They are quick thinkers, always searching for a reason for things. They seek the truth. As they love change, travel, and new experiences, they should not be placed in positions requiring detailed, monotonous routine.
6 birthpath The 6 symbolizes maturity and responsibility; it is the number of the mind and signifies growth to the point where mind begins to search within for the reason of being and realizes its responsibility to humankind. The 6s have the mental quickness and the analytical ability of the 5, but without the 5's restlessness and impulsiveness intensity. They desire to assume responsibilities and care for others. Their love is universal, with a intense desire to serve. They carry responsibility better than any other quality and make good managers.
7 birthpath The duty of the 7 quality is to tune the mind to harmony and balance for receiving impressions from within. The mind must be placid and at peace. The 7s keynote is placidity. The 7s deeply appreciate the beauties of nature; they delight in mystery and are naturally drawn to philosophy and the occult. They should spend time in meditation and reflection, and write down their thoughts.
8 birthpath The 8 symbolizes a power that comes to demonstrate the spiritual law in service to humanity. The 8s are the born executives and national leaders, and should occupy positions where they can administer justice and equality for all and work to create a just and balanced economic system. The 8s should never be subservient to others. They seem to understand people and have the ability to direct others and to hold positions of great responsibility.
9 birthpath The 9 includes all the other qualities within itself. The 9s are born to serve others along the path of wisdom as spiritual leaders and teachers. They are very sensitive. Their talents are many and varied, covering the inspirational vocations or in business where they have the opportunity to be of service to people in some way--in charitable institutions, hospitals, or in education or law. The 9s are charming, affectionate, and respond quickly to kindness. The path of the 9 is the highest and most inspirational, but it is the most difficult to live.

1. The Principle of Life 1b. Knowable and Unknowable 1c. Duality of Being
---------------------------------------------------- 1. The Principle of Life ---------------------------------------------------
On our web site we have dozens of articles and excerpts which you can read to give you an introduction to the Kabalarian Philosophy. We have included three short ones. We would encourage you to view the full the full list:
http://www.kabalarians.com/cfm/ArticleTextDisplay.cfm
Here are the three articles:
-------------------------------------------------- The Principle of Life - Excerpt from © Kabalarian Writings -----------------------------------------------------------------
The Kabalarian Philosophy often speaks of the Principle of Life. To many people, life is the magnificent expression of an omnipotent power. We look at life as the expression of something beyond our full comprehension, but sufficiently within our grasp of understanding for us to appreciate that life is the manifestation or expression of a completeness. Life is not a whim, but is the result of an expression of intelligence and the unfoldment of the plan of the reality of being.
The Principle of Life includes the expression of everything: the whole universe. The whole universe in its vastness, its unknown expression, is the manifestation of a law, an immutable unfoldment of actions that follows definite procedures or patterns. Life is a principle and not something that is evolutionary.
The Principle of Life is not changeable by the whim of thought of this one or that one. There would be no consistency, no ontinuity, no logic, no intelligence to life.
Intelligence is relative to a pattern of unfoldment or a pattern of consistent reason and relativity of logic and order and system. The Principle of Life is the unfoldment of greater intelligence and unfolds in a systematic way relative to the law of growth and unfoldment.
----------------------------------------------- 1b. Unknowable and Knowable -----------------------------------------------
The Principle of Life includes both the unknowable and the knowable. We might ask, "If it is unknowable, how can we possibly say there is anything to it? Is there any principle to it?" Quite often we deal with form when form is only part of the factor at hand. For instance, if we pick up a little package of seeds, we see the shells of the seeds, but the part that is not known is the power within the seeds. However, it requires the power in the seeds plus the seeds to make the plants grow. If we look at an electrical wire, we do not know whether it is hot or not until we use a meter or instrument or touch it, causing our hair to stand on end.
There is an unknowable aspect to electrical power because it is beyond the visual senses until it makes a meter needle move or is felt as a shock. Similarly, there is the unknowable aspect of life which is part of the overall completeness of life.
What is the seed without the power? What is the electrical wire without a current to flow through it? What good is form or materiality without a reason behind it, without a purpose to it, without a greater potential to it?
The Principle of Life in the Kabalarian concept is the total encompassing concept of the unknowable, which is beyond our immediate comprehension and what we can readily see or ultimately may perceive--be it a distant galaxy or a new energy from molecular power. The Principle of Life is everything combined into one package of invisible and visible, unknowable and knowable.
-------------------------------------------------------- 1c. Duality of Being -------------------------------------------------------- Excerpt from © Kabalarian Writings ----------------------------------------------------------
To explain the Principle of Life, we use the term "duality of being". Duality is the higher and lower, the opposites, the cause of life expressing and life itself. Duality allows us to think of the Principle of Life as a two-part expression. One part is the invisible, unknowable, and the other is the knowable or the visible.
We refer to the duality of being in many different terms-- positive and negative, reason and reality, cause and effect. These are further definitions of the duality of being in an attempt to explain the unknowable and the knowable and to define the upper and lower halves of a circle that represent the entire encompassing Principle of Life.
When we refer to the top or bottom, we begin to bring the whole into finer shades of understanding or measurement. The duality of being refers to the higher, the unknowable, the intelligent aspect of the Principle of Life, and the lower, representing the intelligence in definable form.

----------------------------------------------------------------- 1. The Secret Power of Your Name Lorenda Bardell - Newsletter Editor -----------------------------------------------------------------
Alfred J. Parker, the founder of the Kabalarian Philosophy, realized that how mind is created, as well as how to mould and change human nature, has long been a mystery of life.
Mr. Parker taught that mind is created by the expression of consciousness in the form of language. When a child is given a name, its physical body responds to the forces of intelligence expressed by the parents who named the child and refer to the child by that name. The conscious energy expressed by the minds conceiving the name stimulates the child's body and brain cells into a specific pattern or vibration.
This stimulation causes the child to respond consciously according to a definite pattern that can be measured through the name when the name is related to the mathematical gradations of the symbols of the alphabet.
Education and experience in the forms of teaching, environmental conditions, observation, copying, and impulsive motivation bring into mental form a concept of life. Thus does a mind grow from nothing to a power of mental awareness. Analysis allows the mind to relate one aspect of life with another and arrive at a conclusion or a new mental perspective. This process represents the growth pattern of mental development.
Mental growth is based upon analysis--using some information or knowledge already a part of one's mind to produce something new. It is like wrapping string into a ball--each wrap makes the roll bigger. In mind, each experience, thought, and developed understanding adds to the mind. Just as the ball of string is one continuous line of string, so is each mind the continuous experiences and thoughts of the unfoldment of that life.
The Kabalarian Philosophy teaches how the forces of intellect can be balanced in their expression by balancing each person's name to express the quality of intelligence contained within the person's spark of life (we call this life power the birthpath which is measured from the date and time of birth).
Why Order a Name Report? A Name Report will explain your purpose in life through measurement of the date of your birth. Is your path in life meant to be practical, social, or inspirational? Does your name harmonize with that inner potential, or do the qualities of your mind lead you in different directions resulting in frustration and unhappiness? Names should harmonize with the inner potential for the greatest happiness and success.
You will receive our suggested recommendations to help you understand the steps required to make constructive changes in your life. A Name Report does not obligate you in any way.
The report includes consultation and access to a personalized web portal to learn more about the application of mathematics to language and name.

Question:
When one changes one's name to create more constructive conditions in one's life, is it the sound vibrations of the name or just the psychological influence that affects the individual's brain cells and changes the life pattern?
- answered by Mr. Alfred J., Parker founder of the Kabalarian Philosophy taken from a taped class circa 1960.
Answer:
The influence of the change goes deeper than its effect upon the sense of hearing, although sound plays a very vital role in life. It manifests through the principle of mathematics, which is the dimensional law through which all forms of life come into being. Of course, there is form that is not discernible through the eyesight, for instance, energies, sound, odour, and gases; there are light vibrations that mankind cannot discern through the sense of sight; and there are emanations or vibrations given off by minerals and other forms of life. The Kabalarian Philosophy concentrates its theory of name influence upon the conscious form of life called mind; it too is form, but of a more abstract nature; i.e., mind is better understood as a spiritual power that, through involution, has become a conscious channel of expression through which abstract or spiritual forces of consciousness may manifest thoughts, experiences, language, and concept through brain impressions. Mathematics measures and defines these different planes of manifestation and, in the case of mind, it classifies the many dimensions of thought and discloses the spiritual power and influence behind or comprising each letter.
Each number or letter is a certain gradation in the scale of being or mathematics; thus, when a name is attached to the brain cells of an individual through the law of association, the individual and collective impressions or vibration of the letters are registered upon the brain cells, thereby creating a specific degree of intelligence relative to the combination of letters. A person without sight, hearing, or speech reacts to his name and becomes the exact type of intelligence relative to the name vibrations, provided his brain can be reached through a touch system of the alphabet. A person living alone in the woods all his life and not hearing the vibrations of his name would still exactly personify the characteristics of his name, and his bodily functions would register the sickness relative to the particular name combination.
You see, mathematics is not only a means of measurement of quantity, but is also a measurement of spiritual values; it is the law through which God the cause becomes effect through language. Although mathematics may be used as a measuring stick to determine the nature and dimension of materiality, each number and letter symbolizes a divine power unto itself; it must be a divine power to create intelligent measurement and analysis. Through analysis, one's mind may be revealed.
The Kabalarian Principle of name change is not based upon euphony, but upon the actual vibrations of intelligence as expressed through mathematics and language attached to the brain cells, through association to create a human mental existence. The keys on a piano do not create a concerto but they set in motion the vibration of sounds emitted by the strings but controlled by the notes: A,B,C,D, etc.
The Kabalarian Philosophy as well as doing a detailed Name Report on your existing names can provide a Balanced Name Recommendation which can be used to change the conditions, situations, state of health, and balance in your life.

Pandemic flu: are we ready?
In 1918 and 1919, influenza killed more people than were slaughtered in the entire First World War. And it could happen again, soon. All eyes are now on the H5N1 virus, which is endemic in both domestic and wild birds in Asia, and has already killed more than 50 people in Vietnam, Thailand and Cambodia.
